mr. doran felt so reluctant to be a member of mrs. mooney's family, but having polly impregnated, he cant do anything but to commit and to stand by his responsibilities. maybe for a while he may feel unwelcome, but maybe, as days pass by, he may feel happy as well as welcome. he realised that running away from his responsiblity can bother his conscience and he may turn as coward if he turns his back on polly. he wisely chose to marry polly and accept his fatherly responsibility to his future baby.on th eother hand, he may find it quite difficult to adjust, but as days pass by, he can fit in as good as he deserves to be.this is how mr. doran felt about becoming a member of polly's family.it will not be that easy but it is worth living for, especially on his case where he has a baby on the way.
